Do I need a reservations?

What are your business hours?

People Hours: 
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Saturday 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Sunday  4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

We do not do business after hours. Please don't ask, thanks.

What types of payments do you take?

We accept cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards.

What vaccinations do you require?

Our vaccination policies are very simple: We absolutely require distemper, Bordetella (canine cough), and rabies vaccines.

Can I take a tour of the property?

You bet. We have site inspections frequently. Just give us a call (336) 886-1907 and make an appointment. We're very proud of our facilities and have nothing to hide. Tours are suspended during peak boarding times (holidays) because of the demands on staff in caring for the pets during these busy days.

Do you board cats?

Yes, we offer both cages and condos.

How much outside exercise/playtime will my dog get?

Each dog is taken out twice daily to the fenced-in courtyard for playtime, weather permitting. We do not operate a “group care” facility. Each dog is provided their own individual kennel which is separated by concrete walls so that they can hear each other but can’t see each other. In addition to that, each dog is put into one area of the courtyard individually (unless they are boarding with “family”). Each area is fenced so that they are unable to get in contact with each other through fence lines. If you would like us to take your pet out more often, just let us know. There is an extra fee for this service.

How much do you charge for Boarding?

Are your facilities indoors? Climate controlled?

When the dogs are not out in the courtyard playing, they are in their climate-controlled, clean kennels. Visit our gallery page to see our kennel photos.

Can I bring my pet's bed and toys?

Absolutely; it can make your pet's stay more comfortable. You are welcome to bring bedding, snacks, and/or toys if you wish. However, the toys must be four inches or longer so they cannot slip down the floor drains. Rawhide bones or snacks that do not dissolve cannot be given to your pet in the runs.

Can my dogs room together?

Is there someone there at night?

We live on the property.

Can you give my pet medicine while I am gone?

We do this on a regular basis at no extra charge. When you check-in, bring along a detailed listing of medication instructions and a means to administer if necessary (i.e. dog treats for hiding pills, etc.).

What if my pet becomes sick or hurt?

After assessing the situation, we will try to reach you or your emergency contact. If we are unable, we will call your veterinarian to decide if your pet requires treatment. If your veterinarian is closed, we will take your pet to an emergency clinic. We will then continue to attempt to reach you or your emergency contact for further instructions.

What kind of food do you provide?

We serve Iams™ ProActive Health™, a top-quality chicken and cornmeal kibbled food that is easily digested by most dogs. 

Can I bring my pet's own food?

We highly encourage you to provide your own food. We will feed your pet but would much rather your pet maintains his or her normal diet. Please only bring enough food for the length of the visit.

Do I need to bring my dog's dishes?

We have stainless steel feeding dishes, but if it makes you more comfortable, you can bring your own.

How often will my pet be fed?

We feed twice a day. If your pet requires special feedings, just let us know when you register.
